New Life Fellowship, Ludhiana, India

The New Life Fellowship is a church ministry born out of the need among heart patients for hope as they struggle with fear of death. At the Christian Medical College in Ludhiana a cardiologist started sharing with his patients who were struggling with fear and crippled by it about the hope that Jesus offers to them and about the God of the bible who is a loving God. One by one as patients and friends responded to the message a church was born first at the cardiologists home and later in a restaurant in the city and now in meeting as New Life Fellowship in their own premises near the hospital.

The cardiologist has become the Pastor too. This cardiologist as a teenage medical student was profoundly influenced by Scottish Professor, Dr.Betty Cowan who after retirement now worships at the Fullarton Parish Church, Irvine. The pastor of the Fullarton Parish Church Neil has been keen to partner with New Life Fellowship. He invited Dr Jaison the cardiologist pastor and Dr.Abi Thomas the treasurer of the church and professor of dentistry and in charge of admissions at Christian medical college to come for the world without walls project.
