I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your frienship and I thank God for each one of you.

Let me take this opportunity to let you know that we at Dwelling Places have been blessed with a brand new department called the Public Relations Department. This department amalgamates most of the work that relates with donors and people that visit, want to know about and give to Dwelling Places. It also serves as the voice for the children we serve to the public.

Currently, the department has six staff and is located in Kampala city, bringing Dwelling Places nearer and more accessible to its friends via ciber space and physical contact. The location in Kampala is an advantage in that being the capital city, electricity and other services are more predicatble, quicker and accessible than elsewhere.

The PR department comprises four sub-departments as follows:
Advocacy through Media
Fundraising Programs ( child sponsorship & 2000 Dwellers)
Donor Communications Position
Volunteers

It is currently being headed up by Jeanie Blevins- a missionary with Africa Inland Mission.

The team is very skilled, innovative and self-motivated. All of them have barely been with us for a year but they have brought into Dwelling Places and added value of excellent image that I would like to share with you.
